Margaret, it is obviously imported, legally, I hope, but I was delighted to see it, a real hedgehog. All these years of knowing Mrs. Tiggywinkle and then meeting her in person. She wasn't wearing an apron, but I didn't really expect that.
That last post was to Helen regarding the hedgehog.
Good evening, interesting to hear you don't normally have hedgehogs where you live. I wonder how it arrived there. Hello Milly. I'm okay thank you . How are you doing?
Well, I'd like to announce that I have finally seen a hedgehog. We don't have them on this continent - they are not native here, but there's one in our yard right now. Delightful, and much smaller than I had imagined.
Oh, that is such good news, Ric. Hang on tight. It looks terrible for some people. The sun will be shining in Toronto today and we are having a little 'petting' zoo coming to visit us this afternoon. I hope for one sheep, at least. Enjoy your day.
Morning all! Lots of blowing and rain. Still dark here, but of what I can see, looks like we may have done OK. Thanks to all for the well wishes!
Good Morning All, Yes, thinking of you Milly, & You, too, Ric, with all the rough weather I've seen on the tv news so far! Meanwhile, at Marlfield, the Sheep were resting peacefully beneath a partly blue sky, but as I started typing here, so I didn't see what disturbed them, all of a sudden there was a lot of movement & bleating! ...perhaps their food has arrived!!! Enjoy a safe & happy day All, as best as you can....
That sounds very bad ,keep safe Ric.
Weather channels are warning of catastrophic and unsurvivable storm surges in Florida. Hope Ric will be OK & everyone else, too.
