Good morning, all. It looks sunny there right now. HOt and humid here. Yes, Neil, I noticed the cloud cover from Shetland Cam 3 but that was fine. There was still a lot of light.

Good Morning Folk I see blue sky & sun shine...I wonder how long it will last!!! I'm not sure what you made of the Shetland webcams Helen, unfortunately quite a lot of cloud cover didn't allow the Simmer Dim to show at it's best, Oh well, at least it wasn't raining, Hoping You all enjoy a safe & happy day/night, with the peak of the Summer, in the Northern Hemisphere or Winter Solstice, "down under" as they say, wavering around this coming Midnight in the U.K., depending on where you are on the Globe...

Birds whose calls I cannot identify. Might be a song thrush, since he's repeating everything. He will be tired in the morning!.

AndI can hear several kinds of birds, the chaffinch among them. It's too early for the dawn chorus. Crows as well. And now a dove. They must be very confused. And for Neil - I just checked the Shetland Cliff cam.

Well, it's past midnight and the sky is not really dark. I know - summer time, and there is also a waxing moon. But it still fascinates me..
