The owls are out again but not as near to the microphone as last night. Last night I thought they were sitting on my desk.

Lightning map show the storm off over Liverpool. Hope that's right?

It's a long time since I have seen lightning on the cam. It's off in the distance now.

Ravens, too, or maybe crows.

Morning all.

The owls have been very active tonight between 11.45 and midnight. I went back to look - those wings were certainly not bugs.

Owls must be very close to the microphone and one just flew past the camera.
