Well, these sheep are shedding theirs. I hope the birds are paying attention.

Wool is a perfect nesting material for many types of bird, I remember also the sheep on my Grandfathers farm also

Well Done Dan & Family, Ewes & Lambs. Hope All continues to go well. Your comment about wool for birds building their nests was very prevalent back in my days of bird nesting on my Gt. Uncles Farm in the 1950's & 60's & I guess it still is.

Lambing update: 10 lambs from 8 ewes

Shedding sheep! Lots of fluffy stuff on the ground. I wonder if ay birds every use it for nesting material? It would be very cosy.
