Yes, I scrolled back - it was stunning.
19:20:30 Sunset over sheep grazing.
And after snow and hail, a lovely sunset.
Some of the Lambwatchers have been here for years, and some are newer members. I think I joined in late 2009, but there were already quite a number (some of whom are still here) when I joined. Sometimes nothing happens, and I just look at the sky, and sometimes there is lots of activity. It is always peaceful, and is an escape for me from life in a big city, surrounded by a lot of tall buildings!. Enjoy!
Hi, Liza, not a problem to be asking about things - we are all here at different times, but ask all your questions, and someone will reply to you. This week we should be seeing some lambs, although their mothers don't often bring them up to the camera for inspection. But they should make an appearance soon. Ask all the questions you want to.
I've been doing a lot so I may not be so active but when I am I'll asking stuff and saying hello!
Hello all! sorry for not taking for a while.
It almost sounds like sleet, hard on the microphone.
Snow in the field! It won't last (I hope)
It's snowing up in Kendal - I was just watching their bird feeding station. More snow than birds, for sure.
Here's his cousin, Neil, the Norther Flicker. Has a lot of the same habits. A bit screechy but unmistakable. [link]
I must check the sound of the green woodpecker. I've seen, but never heard, one.
I hear the green Woodpecker is busy waffling away!
A Good Sunny but chilly Morning Folk, Enjoy Your Day...
Well, my friends up in Scotland are shovelling the snow off their front walk, so I'm glad you don't have that..
Morning Helen, it is ,but very cold
Morning Milly - what a beautiful morning.
Sounds like, the world is waking up.
