Kristin, I think mid-to-late June. I follow a site on Facebook that shows photos of the Yorkshire Dales, and it seems to me that all the buttercup fields were cut sometime in June. This meadow is looking better today, with a few more flowers.

I hope so, Helen. Although Milly said they expected more rain. When is the hay usually cut?

Well, it may be dry but it looks a bit wild and windy there. But that will dry things up.
