At 22.07 a sheep has settled down right in front of the cam.

So sorry about the sheep, Dan, and hope she will be OK. Bet you scared yourself, too, when it happened. So glad the vet patched her up.

Sun just setting. I'm usually too late.

She's walking on it ok now, she seems fine. She's in the field with the others. You can tell her as she's a quarter sheared - her back left side. Just need to watch for infection as you say.

Sorry to hear of the accident with the ewe. Hopfully it will not get infected & she will soon be fine

I've just had to give the vet an emergency call out. Sheared one of the sheep and caught her quite badly on her leg. Caught two blood vessels. Lots of blood. She's all patched up now, a bit wobbly on the leg due to anaesthetic, but hopefully she will be back out with the others in the next hour or so.

I must say that the idea of this site is brilliant in its simplicity. Very cozy and quiet.
