Heavy rain or something. It's falling right out of the screen into my hands, or sounds as if it should be!
Yes, from what I was able to find out, that's true, Sue. She continued to be very self-sufficient for quite a long time. I only began to follow her story sometime last autumn, by which time she was in care, as someone posted on FB that they had been to visit her in her new home. She was very well cared-for.
She's a marvellous example and inspiration.
Hannah's motto was**Waste Not Want Not***
According to Christine Talbot (Yorkshire Telly)Hannah had only been in the residential home for less than a year. She had to move out of the small cottage in the village as it was getting packed with her items she always kep.
Hannah was in a care home in Auckland, the last I read. She has a nephew I think, who used to visit her with his wife. There is a page on Facebook.
Are you going to give us a clue about the grey and purple ones please.
Thanks Dan.we can see the ducks /animals.
Ive just wiped the webcam and it is still misty. This is caused by condensation on the inside of the lens cover. I shall wait until we have a dryer day to remove it.
Yes she died in her little cottage.age 91.
I see that Hannah Hauxwell has died. I only first learned about her a couple of months ago. What an inspiring woman.
