Inquisitive Great Tit!

This brave little great tit decided to get a closer look at the equipment that has been watching it for months! The webcam was obviously twinkling in the early morning "sunshine" and standing out more than usual after having been cleaned cleaned the previous evening! It sounds as if the blue tit had a go at pecking the webcam too (there is a tinny tapping noise when it is close) - I wonder if it thought the infra-red LEDs on the webcam were seeds. Just look at all the swallows in the background too. The bird feeder is at its most active in the mornings.
