In the warm evening sunshine, and with a live studio audience of one doting lamb, Howard recites a few lines of thought-provoking Robert Burns as a tribute to Scottish LambWatcher, Andrew from Glasgow...

"O wad some Power the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!
It wad frae monie a blunder free us,
An' foolish notions, see us"

"Asked why God made the gem so small,
And why so huge the granite?
Because, he knew mankind should set
That higher value on it."

"My mirth and gude humour, my coin in my pouch,
And my Freedom's my Lairdship nae monarch dare touch."

Nice to hear you Howard. You have so clearly and confidentful voice. You realy look and sound like a poet or an actor. Thank you for introducing me (or maybe us) of this great poet which I did not hear before although he is known as the national poet of Scotland. KEEP UP THE GIFT YOU HAVE OF READING POETRY. WE LOVERS OF POETRY CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT READING. I THINK ALL LOVERS OF POETRY WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOU RECITE "IF" BY RUDYARD KIPLING OR "DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE " BY MARY FRYE .
