Howard feeds the sheep at lambing time with a foodstuff we refer to as "cake" which is basically sheep nuts full of sugar and nutrients to help the mother and lambs stay fit and strong throughout labour and afterwards. The sheep love this food and are rather keen to get to the bucket even before Howard has put it in their troughs!
