How to use this forum

Hi everyone, I hope you find this forum relatively easy to use but just in case its not so clear, you need to have an account firstly to contribute. Secondly, you can create new threads in any of the forum at any time after you have logged in by clicking the "new thread" link at the top right corner of the forum page (after you have clicked into the particular forum you want to post in). Finally if you want to post a reply to a thread simply use the form at the bottom of the thread or use the link again in the top right corner of the screen when viewing the thread. Any questions please ask!

How big does the avatar pic need to be to be uploaded? as mine doesnt seem to work :(

Hi Christine - the pic can be any size but it needs to be either  a JPG (standard digital camera format) or a gif. 95% of images are these formats.

If it is too bit it may take a while to upload so if it is HUUGE you might want to reduce the size a bit to make it quicker to upload. The site resizes the picture anyway to make it fit in with the forum.

Hmm, is your picture on the Internet somewhere or on your computer? How big is your picture (in megabytes)? If it on the Internet, let me know what the website address of it is and I can try uploading it....

When you upload the pic you may have to wait up to 1 minute for your pic to upload... how long are you leaving it before you decide it's not worked?
