Latest news on the DVD

Hi everyone... just wanted to let you all know that I haven't forgotten about the lambwatch DVD. It is pretty much ready but for some unbeknown reason to me, Windows DVD Maker keeps crashing and failing to finish burning DVD1 coming out with the error message "failed to burn DVD" after getting to 99% done which is really annoying but I am hoping to get that fixed soon but if anyone knows of any solutions to this problem then I would be interested to hear them!

Hi Dan I get that problem when I burn my films. I dont know whether its a problem with the disks or the data gets corrupted in the programme. Hope you gte it sorted soon. Christine

Its weird Christine, I havent found a solution yet - even tried reinstalling windows and that failed! It must be a video clip issue. Did you resolve it at all?

Hi Dan. All I managed to do to stop the issue was change the disks I was using. I take it your using good quality ones, so I cant see why they shouldnt work. Could be a clip glitch. I found it mainly ejected the disks cos they were cheap ones, so its always best to buy good quality ones. Hope you manage to get it smoothed out, nothing so annoying than problems that have no real cause.

Lol Ashtonian - I take it you're a Mac fan then! I agree though it is really poor that the error message from Win DVD maker isn't more clear with why it failed. Thanks to Christine though we debugged it down to a faulty clip which has been replaced and we are now back on track :) I am hoping the DVD will be available by the end of this week / start of next week!
