I thought it would be nice for everyone that comes/chats on Lambwatch to give the weather forecast for the area where they live.

It would be interesting for all Lambwatch fans to read about other areas of the World.

It's quite mild here in Wirral today and we have had some sunshine this morning.

Greater Manchester area.

Mild, dry but overcast.

Northwest,Mild ,cloudy and getting windy

Leeds area nr LBA.

Overcast and cold with a slight tinge of blue sky in the North East.

The weather here in Southern Ontario (around Toronto) is warmer than normal, and will stay that way, apparently, for the next two weeks.  So while we have often had very cold temps and lots of snow in previous Januarys, right now it is just at the freezing point, quite damp and cloudy, but with no snow.  Most Januarys in the past could bring us -26C by January 25th.  Not this year, for sure.  So in Fahrenheit terms, we are about 40 degrees warmer than we usually are.  But it's easier underfoot and much easier driving!

Ohio is following Helen's Canada although a little warmer. Zero at the moment and we're expecting freezing rain or light snow this evening. We've had only a few inches of snow this winter, and it leaves quickly with the rain.

This weather is unusual for us. We usually are below freezing with a lot of snow. But like Helen, I'm enjoying the easier driving conditions. Over the next 10 days our temperatures will range from -1 to 8C.

Greater Manchester Area

Bright, sunny and very cold.

Wirral weather today (Thursday, 26th Jan) is sunny and cold but not too cold.  Very pleasant to walk. 

Northwest area,bright  and sunny,,,but a few showers,,cold

Ohio, USA, cold (3C) and heavy rain.

Rain again tonight not been a bad day today.

Friday - north west  - going windy, black sky but sunshine too so we're in for some showers which have just started this minute.

Friday here in Ontario ---- heavy wet snow after a night of freezing rain.  great fun, maybe, for penguins or seals, but not for drivers.  It's not supposed to last more than a day or two.

Friday pm,We have had sunshine/Sleet/Snow and Rain that this afternoon..Morning was sunny but cold.

After a night of Rain.

We have had a lovely Spring(cough)like day to day.

Sunshine and warmish for January. hopefully this will last another couple of days.

More snow for Guelph today, but still very mild temperatures.

There was bright red sky earlier,now clouded over -1c,so i dont know what we are going to get,,still icy,

 Sunday,29th .Not bad this am,grey sky but dry and cold,like Lancs -1 but hopefully will warm up slightly.

Minus 4 here in Guelph, with a fairly bright sky, but more snow forecast for later.

Well the rain has started which is supposed to carry on all night and tomorrow maybe bringing snow with it..

We shall wait and see.....

Freezing with sunshine.

Sunshine here today but minus 6.  More snow later (they say!)

Tonight we have had some rain showers,hopefully no snow as yet.but it is forecast -10 starting tomorrow.

Its a very grey day,the sky is full of something,cold,but no ice or frost,,

Sky very grey and it's  very cold.there is frost on the cars and the grass.
Looks really miserable..

3c is the top temrature today if it gets that high.

14C on February 1 in Ohio. Some clouds, some sun.

Well, the night of January 31st the temperature rose to +10C and by morning the snow had almost completely disappeared.  There is none in the fields outside of town.  But the evening of February 1st is a little colder, down to +1C but still above normal.  The forecast for the next 7 days is for sunshine.  I wonder....

2nd Feb now and we have a bit of Blue/grey sky.

Plenty of frost still on the grass and the tops of the cars.

Maybe we will have a bit of Sunshine before the worst of the weather sets in on Saturday 4th Feb.

The temp isn't supposed to get above 1c all today.

This winter is a cold  one ,so far.

 There were many nights which the temperatures went down near zero.

The rain was good , around the average, so far.

Today and the next week the temperature is going to climb over the average to sunny days.

3rd Feb am.

Lovely sunny day with blue sky but it is very cold.

Going out to enjoy the sun before we get some nasty weather.

Although it is still dark here (7.15 a.m.) it is going to be a mild and sunny day, with a nice weekend coming up.  Temperature right now is just zero (32F).

Happy weekend to all.  I hope the snow in England is less messy and inconvenient than is forecast.

I am getting spoiled. It feels like spring.

I feel much the same as Stephanie - it does seem like spring - like late March here.  Crocuses and daffodils will be up soon if this continues.

Nice sunny morning with blue sky by looks of the trees ,no wind.-6.

In southern Ontario it's clear and bright and not very cold.  Although the official reading is -5C, it's not that cold on my balcony, as there is some standing water that hasn't frozen.  Looks to be a lovely, sunny day here.

Well the snow started falling about an hour and a half ago.Laying pretty thick here in Leeds/ Yorkshire.It is cold 0c and not likely to get any higher on the temp gauge.

Here in NAshville it is 52 F with a gih of 63 today. Rainy. It has been consistently in the 60's. Very very warm for winter here.

Northwest 5th feb,,Snow about 8cm -6,,not much wind,,cold and icy,,,

North West coast on Sunday 5th February... (Wirral and Blackpool,( according to Blackpool Dave))  -  No snow. 

We have about 5 inch of snow,just been in the garden and the snow has a thick layer of ice on top.scruncing as I walked on the snow.

Hopefully with a bit of sunshine that we are supposed to be getting it should start thawing..

Oh, I hate to brag as I look at all of you in the UK with all that snow, but it is +4C here and the most beautiful. suuny day.  I've just been for a long ride in the countryside, and the fields are brown and bare, no white anywhere.  So enjoy yours while you have it, but do walk or drive very carefully.

Snow thawing a bit on the roads and pavements but slowly on the grass.

-4 here on Monday am but it's forecast to freeze on a night time.

Sunny and bright here, and going up to +5C.  A lovely, early spring day for us.  I wonder if we will ever really get winter?  There's not a speck of snow anywhere.

hello all,we haven't had a snow today but it's certainly been cold.

Roads are clear of snow but the pavements depending on where I was going could be pretty slippy.

Grey sky now but hoping for a bit of sunshine tomorrow.

We had a very heavy frost here this morning (in Wirral);  everywhere was white and it's been a cold day with no sunshine.  The pavements were quite slippy first thing this morning (7.30a.m.) ish.

Sunny and mild here all day - a lovely day, but getting a tad colder overnight.

Northwest 8th Feb ,Very cold but dry-6c,some frost on the cars,

This morning was very frosty and freezing cold -5 around 7ish.

Now it's -3 and the snow is slowly thawing and by the look of the pavements has actuallly disappeared from them.

It's a lot colder here this morning in Ontario, -8C  at 7.30 a.m. but nice bright sunshine.  Pretty soon the farmers will be worrying about the lack of moisture this winter.  You have more snow in the UK than we have across all of Canada (except on the east coast.)

Grey sky,no wind but very cold and icy -6.we still have the snow on the ground and plenty of ice..

Very cold here - winter arrived overnight so we're down to -11C on Saturday morning.  This is only going to last for a few days and then it will warm up again  We have a little snow, not a lot.

Northwest 12th feb,cloudy very cold,although temps rising ,a slow thaw forcast,,,yet i woke up at 4 am ,freezing,,,

The temperature has risen slightly since yesterday, and we expect a little snow, then clearing for Sunday afternoon and the worst will be over.  (Or so they say!)

Temprature not bad today(Sunday) 2c and the temperature is going to steady off at around 2c/3c even overnight.

Plenty of cloud today but no fog and no sunshine.

Heavy snow is coming down here.  This is blowing in off the Great Lakes north of us, as we have strong north winds at the moment.

Sunday 12 Jan.  Wirral weather is less cold than yesterday ( just; ) very overcast with a dark grey sky.

We have had a bit of sunshine and lovelyto see,but now we have  a few slash of rain and grey clouds again.8c is good after the cold.

We have a bright sunny day here in southern Ontario, but it's still quite cold, -4C with stiff west winds.

0C/32F, snowing in Ohio at the moment. However, we won't get much snow. It is predicted to be 6-7C/mid-40sF during the next few days.

The weather wasn't too bad today.fairly warm and a bit of sunshine.no grey skies until tonight.

Hearts and flowers and valentines, and wet snow that turned to rain!  We are back to mild temperatures and perhaps the worst is over.

Everybody's favorite stuff, freezing rain, is expecting here in Guelph tonight.  This usually means no school tomorrow, as school buses cannot drive on the country roads in those conditions.

Here in Wirral today the temperature is about 7C with a fresh breeze.  Mainly cloudy but we did have a little glimpse of the sun around mid-day.  It's gone cold now, late afternoon.

Heavy fog here today.  The freezing rain has ended, at least, but there is something wet forecast for later, or tomorrow.  We're right on the freezing point, so it could be snow or rain, depending...

Friday - raining this morning

Not much happening here. A few odd patches of old snow left on ground in Mississauga just west of Toronto, other-wise road surfaces are dry. Temp.is around zero c. and will continue warm. Normally --20 c. +/--  this time of year. Enjoyed Lynda's family fun in the snow a week or so ago. (4:50am/feb17)

Been cold most of the day with grey clouds.but still been in the garden to clear old plant pots away..

It's the 17th, still, and after a wet and snowy day yesterday we had a day of sunshine with a mini-blizzard about 2.00 p.m.  It didn't last, but real, continuous snow is coming in tonight and tomorrow.  This will make the ski-resort operators happy.  Business has been bad.

Saturday, 18th February.  Here in Wirral in North West England, it is windy and  pouring with rain and heavy too.

We've had a fair amount of snow overnight so winter's back.  It won't last for long, likely, as temps are supposed to get mild again in the next couple of days.  It's +1C right now.

16-50pm 18th.

The rain started around 16-30 pm so had to come in from sorting the gaden ie plant pots and  wooden A-Frame.

It's getting very windy and cold out there.expecting freezing temeratures tonight and first thing in the morning.6c at the moment..

Lovely Springlike day today..Blue sky,plenty of sunshine and roughly about 6c,so going into the garden again after Lunch..

Here in southern Ontario it is -8C tonight but it will get milder and we expect three or four days of rain this week.  At least we will not have to shovel that!

Very cold today in the garden 7c.now that doesn't sound bad but when the wind chill comes into it,feels like 2c.

It's turned out to be a lovely Spring-like afternoon with sunshine and mild temperatures here in Wirral in the North West of England.
