What kind of milk did Lynda feed Ranvir's  lambs?

Hi, Mary.  I think it's regular powdered milk.  And they have large baby bottles with big rubber nipples.  You should hear them slurp it down.  I fed one when I was there last year.

Hi Mary.... Yes it is specially prepared formula milk for lambs.... very similar to formula baby milk in principle but not content ! we buy it in 5kg bags from an agricultural chemists in the local town... it is pretty expensive but always necessary at some point in the lambing season. If the lambs are newborn ... ie within 6 - 12 hours old and they need a bottle for one reason or another, we feed them special packets of " colostrum " which contain everything a newborn lamb should have in the way of vitamins, minerals and all sorts of goodies that help to kick start the lambs immune system to bugs and bacteria that it may pick up in the future
