Silence Of The Lambs - No More (Hopefully)

Lo all!

If all goes to plan, the silence of the lambs should be no more! I will be fixing the / installing a new microphone this evening (if all goes to plan) so the sound of lambwatch will be restored to live sound, enbaling the sounds of nature and newborns to emanate to the world's electronic gadgetry once again! :)

I shall also, if possible, be doing a "live twitcast", (commentary on the programme via Twitter) from the webcam during this evening's Lambing Lambing live! To see our comments, follow @lambwatch on twitter.

It will be wonderful to have the sound of the sheep, lambs and birds from the farm once again so I hope that

Sorry you had to buy a new mic.  I guess it was a bigger problem than just soldering the wires.

yes, a new one was required as the microphone head had fallen off the old one. With the strong winds, the head had been shaken and the connection weakened. Eventually it must have fallen off. They are only flimsy things really.

This one has been taped up for strengh.
