It does seem to be pouring rain all over England today, so the celebrations might have to be moved!

But enjoy them whenever they do happen.

Our bonfire night (Friday) goes on all weekend which is normal for us Brits as we like to party...

Hope everyone enjoys their bonfire and firework celebrations but please, please remember that pets don't enjoy the fireworks and must be kept safe indoors. Also please remember to look for hedgehogs before lighting your bonfire.

We are going to the Edenbridge Bonfire Society one tomorrow. They have a torchlit procession ( real fire ones) with floats etc. before 25ft effigies (of unpopular political perons) are set on fire to start the display. It is usually a very good do.

We have no rain as yet but may yet get it.

Oliver is home from Durham for the weekend so we have a full house. It will get fuller as the weekend goes on, culminating in a VERY full house on Sunday evening when we are off to TGI Friday's to celebrate Ed;s distinction. Busy but happy time.

Some of us Lambwatchers were treated to a dazzling display over Earby Friday night, even in the drizzling rain.  Three different sets of fireworks, set off just before the heavens opened and it began to pour.  It was lovely to see them through the webcam.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend wherever you are, with bonfires, torchlit processions and whatever else is provided for your entertainment.
