Bobby

Hi all. Just to let you know that Bobby is at the vets for his ear opperation. I'll let you all know how he gets on during the day.

Hi again, Vets been on and hes fully awake from the opperation. Hes had his whole ear taken away. I'll be picking him up soon. I'll keep you informed.

Yay that is good news. Was his ear cancerous or was it some other growth? I bet you must be pretty excited about seeing him! again! You could give him a nickname of VanGogh - or is that mean? :P

LOL!!! Yeah, we'll call him one eared Bobby. lol. We already have a cat with one testicle whom we call one ball jo!! We dont know if its cancerous or not, but because it was infected they said its best to take it all away. He'll look funny. Yeah, I cant wait to see him, I miss when my babies go away from the home. I'll keep you updated on how he is later :)

Hi again. Bobby is home now, and still hasnt got out of his carrier, hes got a deep cut which is sewn up where his lefte ar was. He seems pretty drugged up. Been through the mill. Hes go a buster collar on which hes getting used to. He slept all last night and today has had a bit to eat.

Ah bless him i bet he looks quite a sight now! How long does he have to wear the collar for?

He has to wear the collar for two weeks. We have an appointment to get the stitches out then. The collar is just to stop him scratching at the ear and the stitches. I have a young female cat, Evie and when she was spayed she was naughty, (she always is) and she plucked the first layer of stitches out on the first day. You can imagine how stressed and worried I was lol. :) Shes fine now!

Hi all. Just thought Id send you a quick message to say that Bobby had his stitches out today, the vet was impressed at how well he's healed. He had six stitches in all. He doesnt have to wear the buster collar no more and is happy he is free of it. Hes back downstairs with the other cats, no longer wants to stay in my room. He's back happy with his sister and other friends. Thanks all for your kind remarks about him when he had his opperation. Christine xxx
