Improved Picture Notice

Hi everyone, the quality of the picture of the webcam has been improved by approximately a third.

The downside of this is that you will need at least a 128kb/sec internet speed.

Please let me know if you notice that the picture becomes jerky or stuttery or keeps having to "buffer".

If this happens to lots of people then I have obviously asked too much of the Internet to ask it to output this quality of picture.

Hi Dan,  the picture looks great and no stuttering up to now.  Do you have any ideas on how to enhance the colour on a laptop?  I can make the brightness go up or down but don't know how to make the colour better.  The grass in the field doesn't look as green as it could be.  It might be just my laptop as it isn't  one of the most expensive on the market but any help would be appreciated.  Thanks :)

HI, Dan, it's a stunning picture, but my question is the same as Margaret's - the colours are not very vivid.  I thought perhaps it was just brown grass, not yet spring-green, but perhaps it's the computer I am using (I notice it with both the laptop at home and the one at school. Both are Dell laptops.)  The images are really clear, and it's much easier to see things, but the colours are drab.  It is me?  Anyway, thanks for improving the picture.

Thanks, Helen
