World's Oldest WW1 Veteran dies at aged 113

Henry Allingham died today aged 113 in Brighton.

Hi, Fi, I didn't realise you were still working on it.  It's a good article and a great video clip.  Thanks for calling our attention to this.

We do need to thank Henry Allingham and all servicemen and women who have fought for our country in all wars.

Without their bravery we wouldn't be enjoying our freedom now.

We will remember them!

I know the last forum message sounded like a Remembrance Day message but I felt that thanks should be made to Henry and others who fought for our country.  My condolences to Henry's family and friends.  We have lost a great character.  Rest easy Henry!
