Happy Fourth of July to all our Friends in the USA.  You are privileged to live in "America the Beuatiful", and we are privileged to be your friends and neighbours, especially those of us who live next door to you.  Have a wonderful long weekend, and stay safe as you celebrate.

Yes, I agree Helen. It is nice to live 'next door' to our US neighbours.

As one of your American friends, thank you all very much!  Hot dogs on the grill, firecrackers, sparklers, and bottle rockets and my two baby grandsons' first Independence Day.  Can't wait.  Most people are off work today since the holiday falls on Saturday.  However, I'm here at work, but that's ok, had too much to do anyway.

Happy 4th of July to all Americans. And thank you for all my Canadian neighbors. Your kind words are appreciated! I have visited Canada when I was a little girl. It was just beautiful. And the people were friendly too. Everyone have a safe and fun holiday!

Thank you to our Canadian and English friends. We do have a beautiful land and a rich heritage from the land of Lambwatch. It is a mutual privilege, Helen, to have Canada as friend and neighbor.

We are blessed to have you wonderful Canadians for neighbors! I seem to recall it's the longest friendly border in the world!

It's very hot here in Texas today, I'm staying indoors, for sure!

Yes, Betty, the longest undefended border in the world, except that Homeland Security is now insisting that we all have passports - you folks and our folks.  But pretty soon we'll all have computer chips somewhere on our bodies, and we'll be able to travel freely back and forth, lol !  From the sounds of it, your heat will keep you away from the fireworks tonight.  Too bad.  I hope it's been a good day regardless.
