In The News...

This weekend LambWatch will be in a couple of newspapers... On Saturday, it will be in the Lancashire Telegraph, and on Sunday it will be in the Sunday Telegraph weekend section. I am 95% confident they will be in so if you don't normally get them, probably best have a browse through to make sure first :) And I am 95% confident that the national Telegraph article is on Sunday but best browse through Saturday's to make sure if you want to read it :P

Be warned the photos are probably not the best as the photography for these articles were quite stressful ocasions for all concerned, and in the lancashire telegraph, there may well be some photos used that I took myself because I was too late to get there last night to assist the photographer due to an "emergency" at work....

Thanks for the information Dan. Cannot buy the Lancashire Telegraph locally so have "bookmarked" the site and hope that they feature the article on line. Will look forward to reading about Lambwatch in the Sunday Telegraph but as suggested will also look at the Saturday Telegraph as would hate to miss the article. Thanks again

Thanks, Dan!  I don't know if I will be able to access the articles on line, but will try.  I'm glad you are getting this publicity - more people in your living room!  More apples for the bowl.

It seems as though neither of the newspapers have included the article about Lambwatch this weekend, so please don't go out and buy a copy specially if you have not done so already. I will let you know if the articles will be out on a different date.

Sorry for the disappointment. I went on what information I was given by the journalists and obviously they failed to keep me up to date. We join the rest of you who will probably have spent about £5 this weekend on papers that would not hve otherwise been bought (unless you are a regular subscriber to either), so I will be having a moan at them on Monday to ask them to send me several copies of the paper when / if they include the article, free of charge, and I will send them out to you. That is if they agree to that... Or they couldsend me lots of vouchers for free papers which I will then forward to you if you have spent for no reason on this. Sory for this folks but it is just the icing on the cake for a series of nightmares to do with these articles.

Hi Dan, Thanks for your update.  I bought a copy of the Telegraph  yesterday and as there was nothing in it I went out at 7.30 this morning to make sure of a copy and didn't find the article. It was not possible to check out the magazines as they are sealed in a cellophane bag.    I have written to the editorial section to ask when it is going to be included so we shall see if they reply with any dates as to when they are going to print it.

At least I have plenty of reading matter now to keep me occupied..

P.S.  Plus two very handy little books 'Wildlife in Britain' Part one and two which were given with the paper yesterday and today.

Hi Dan, I bought yesterday's Daily Telegraph as I saw the banner headline advertising "Wildlife in Britain" but although it is a very nice supplement it doesn't include Lambwatch. It will probably take me all week to read the whole of the newspaper   I will keep on checking the websites of the Lancashire Telegraph and Daily Telegraph and shall await your news update before buying any more newspapers. Good luck when you contact the papers tomorrow.

Hi all, well miladdo from Lancashire Telegraph says it will be in tomorrow and Miladdo from Daily Telegraph says it will be in next weekend. Please check the websites (Lancashire Telegraph and Daily Telegraph) before buying a paper as it should be on there if it is going to be in the paper on that day...!

Lambwatch is definitely going in the newspaper this week - not tomorrow - but any day after tomorrow. The Editor said that they want to make a feature of Lambwatch and not just squash it amongst other news. When it is in the newspaper it will be prominently shown on the Home Page of the newspaper website.
